Okay, so this is my original character Kaede. He's a character from the same story as my other character Kazuki. His background hasn't been completely hashed out yet, but I've got most of the basics down for him.

He's a 4th level demon. In my story there are 5 levels for demons. The 1st and 2nd levels are basically just mindless animals, not very intelligent. 3rd levels have human intelligence but still aren't very powerful but are the most common type of demon. 4th level are intelligent and more powerful than the 3rd levels. They also tend to be much more human looking than the other levels of demon. 5th levels are the most powerful. They're basically the lords or leaders of the different factions of demons and they aren't that common. There are only a few of them.

So Kaede is a 4th level ice type. Because he is an ice type demon he usually wears heavy clothes like boots and is normally seen wearing a thick hooded jacket. I plan on doing a picture of him wearing that outfit later. He wears these clothes because he has to keep his body temperature low. Ice types have a very low body temp. and since the normal environment of the world is warm they need to keep themselves insulated or else it could be very damaging.

Kaede is generally a nice guy. He does have quite a bit of bloodlust that comes from being a demon but tends to like helping people. He finds lower leveled demons very annoying so he often travels, disguised as a human, with demon hunters so that he can work off some energy.

In my story he ends up traveling with Kazuki and helping him try to find his brother. Kazuki believes him to be human for quite awhile during their travels. Kaede tries to play on being the nice guy but he's mainly just traveling with him to get the chance to kill some more lower demons.

Anyway, that's the basics of what I have on him so far. I'll probably add more as it appears.
